Have I run into some sort of anomaly on this DJGPP installation? 
The "rm -f @XXX" should, I assume, remove everything listed in
file XXX.  It does not.  That notation does not appear in info for
rm.  The manifest files exist.

Running rm under bash does not change the situation.

I could cobble up a 4dos script to do the deletions, but I would
like to find out what is going on first.
