Try running the configure script with the '--enable-mpbsd' option. When you do a make, libmp.a should be built. Take a look at the readme.djg file for the options I used, when I built GMP. As you can see below, there is a libmp.a file in the binary distribution of GMP. mpfr is something different. I don't have time to find what it is, but you can find more about it in the GMP mail archives at http://www.swox.com/ . bash-2.04$ /develop/zippo/bin/zippo -qpl /develop/dist/gmp/gmp401b.zip Warning: Unable to check that 'z:/mirror' is a directory (errno = 22): No such file or directory (ENOENT) Warning: Unable to read MD5 hashes for gmp 4.0.1 (binaries) - using manifest --- gmp 4.0.1 (binaries) [gmp401b.mft] --- gnu/gmp-4.01/ChangeLog gnu/gmp-4.01/authors gnu/gmp-4.01/copying gnu/gmp-4.01/copying.lib gnu/gmp-4.01/djgpp/readme.djg gnu/gmp-4.01/install gnu/gmp-4.01/news gnu/gmp-4.01/readme include/gmp.h include/gmpxx.h include/mp.h include/mpfrxx.h info/gmp.info lib/libgmp.a lib/libgmp.la lib/libgmpxx.a lib/libgmpxx.la lib/libmp.a lib/libmp.la manifest/gmp401b.dsm manifest/gmp401b.mft manifest/gmp401b.ver 22 match(es) found Regards, -- Richard Dawe [ http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/ ]
