I tried that. What I found was of course the value I was already
entered into PATH namely:
 C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\DJGPP\BIN
repeating this string didn't make any difference. Typing RHIDE from
any directory other than  C:\DJGPP\BIN where RHIDE resides
still resulted in a "bad command or file name" error.

The only other suggestion I got was from the windows-me newsgroup
suggesting I change the autoexec.bat directly. However I also read
somewhere that it should be done via the windows program so windows
is "aware" of the change.

Still it worked for him so I guess that is what I will have to try next...
