Just to let you know that Turbo Vision 1.1.2 is available from Simtel. Is in the v2tk directory: http://www.simtel.net/gnudlpage.php?product=/gnu/djgpp/v2tk/tv112s.zip&name=tv112s.zip [Note this annoying URL is because Simtel doesn't allow direct links to your ftp site, which I think is completly stupid. But this mechanism helps to keep Simtel alive] What's new? That's the first 1.1.x uplodade to Simtel so here are new things taking 1.0.10 as reference: The library fixes a few bugs and provides a much more refined configuration mechanism. It also have support for compiling with gcc 3.x and use of MSS memory debugger. The examples now can be compiled without RHIDE. I included a dialog editor, it needs some adjustments but is nice. It also includes some new stuff that doesn't directly affect djgpp target but are important, like CygWin, MinGW and BC++ 5.5 support. It means you can compile native Win32 versions. In the UNIX front the library now was adjusted to compile and work with Linux/x86, Linux/Alpha, Linux/PPC and Linux/SPARC. I also tested FreeBSD, and works with some limitations. The code compiles for Solaris but doesn't properly work yet. What is TV? TV is a C++ frame work to create applications that have a nice user interface in text mode. It provides windows, dialogs, buttons, mouse support, etc. SET -- Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET).
