Then again, it's easy enough to add the actual dir (e.g. c:\djgpp\bin) in front of the PATH setting in msconfig. It does mean you need to adjust this setting if you move your DJGPP tree, but that shouldn't happen too often anyways. > Btw, does Windows ME have the ability to modify enviroment variables > from the Control Panel, like NT and W2K? It's a separate application (msconfig.exe) that's not really advertised (I'm not sure it's on the start menu by default, and if it is, it's secreted away under the system tools). And you still need to reboot (all it really does is manage autoexec.bat for you). *sigh* I'm inclined to move back to 98SE anyway; WinME is unstable as heck (guess what that last word was before DJ's language filter blocked this message :-) ). Eli, aside from the ntvdm thing, is Win2K suitable for DJGPP use (with an LFN TSR to provide decent filename support)? -- Tim Van Holder - Falcon Software N.V. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This message was posted using plain text.
