I am trying to build a simple C DLL to link into the Java JNI, using gcc and/or RHIDE. How to I do this? The step I'm trying to accomplish is actually part of the Sun Java tutorial - http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/native1.1/stepbystep/step5.html. I've seen at least one very similar question - relating to the same step in the tutorial - in your mail archive, but it dates from 30-Sep-99, and therefore now seems to be slightly out of date, and I also can't see the corresponding answer! Even help on just building a DLL would be welcome. A gold-plated solution would have me jumping for joy! I'm using Windows NT 4, Java SDK 1.3 and I downloaded and installed gcc and RHIDE (version 1.4.7.8) yesterday, direct from your web-site. Many thanks, Nigel Johnson. *************************************************************************** The information contained within this message is intended for the addressee only and may contain confidential and/or privileged information.
