hello everyone.

i am new to the list and i am unsure if this is acceptable use of the
list... i am sorry if it is

but i was wondering if someone could give me a little guidance. i have
recently create a java program that connects to a url, writes a string to
the connection, and then recieves info back...

this is all fine and dandy but now we have to use c/c++, and are not
famillar with what we will have to do to setup a connection and communicate
with it... if anyone knew of a good direction to point us we would be in
your debt.
