I just have a quick question, so I'll know whether or not to proceed on the path I've set out.. We're about to commence porting the GNU Privacy Guard to DJGPP - this is a project intended to teach a new programmer something about encryption. The question is, whether or not there is any interest in a DJGPP version of the GNU Privacy Guard (i.e.: will people be using it, and will it be worth updating when new versions arise, or will that simply be a waste of time, and should I just stick to it as a - smaller - teaching project). If there is such an interest, I will pay closer attention to sticking - as much as possible - to the original, and documenting what changes I make (probably by using diff). I will also keep an eye out for newer versions of the GNU Privacy Guard, and let Network Associates - the creators of gpg and pgp - know about the DJGPP version - and I will then, ofcourse, send a copy of the ported version to DJ Delorie. Please, when answering this message, send a copy of your answer to my E-mail address as well, as I don't regularly check this newsgroup - there's simply too much traffic on here - thanx!
