I have version 4.0 of Win NT. To fix this problem I had to do something similar to the above steps but step 3 is different. Try this: 1. right click the MS-DOS window header and select Properties. 2. make sure that QuickEdit Mode is NOT checked and click OK. Now it should work. -- Derek
