Iomega drivers do not seem to like DJGPP. Once, I was using DOS 6.22, DJGPP, and RHIDE with a project file and source files on a Zip disk. After a while, the disks began to give me the so-called "click of death"; this happened with disks from both Iomega and Fuji. Zip and Jaz are trademarks of Iomega. --
