I think Andris Pavenis posted in the past a patch to djgpp-workers to make the programs work on Unix and GNU/Linux systems. Search the mail archives on DJ's server to find the patch. I also suggest to read the discussion that it started, since IIRC some of the patches had problems. If you get to the point where you have a working version that can be compiled for DOS and Unix, and you address all of the concerns raised in the discussion I mentioned above, please consider submitting the patches.
