Where does the .env extension come into it as the faq says do not call my folder djgpp.env when i first create it. I am sorry if I am missing something obvious but i think i know more about programming in c than i do about windows 95. I would also like to thank you for your patience and speed of response.----- Original Message ----- From: "Eli Zaretskii" To: "gareth-mills" Cc: Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2000 7:27 PM Subject: Re: instalation problem > > From: "gareth-mills" > > Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2000 18:24:26 +0100 > > > > I am having problems installing. =20 > > Everything seems to work until I compile at which point I get the error = > > message > > Error in DJGPP instalation, > > Environment variable DJGPP point to file > > 'C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV', > > which does not exist. > > Well, _do_ you have a file C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV?
