Anyway, to avoid more complications, I simply symlinked /usr/local/i586-pc-msdosdjgpp and /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-msdosdjgpp to /usr... Maybe this is not the most elegant sulution; but the cross compiler is working fine now. Thanks a lot for your help. Bauche.
