You may have checked, but your check failed to find the problem. You *do* have an installation problem, obviously. The usual reason for this problem is the DJGPP coming with some book-with-CD's. It has an error in the installation routine added by the editors, causing it to lack a crucial program: stubify.exe. The program is in the djdev*.zip file. unpack it into your DJGPP tree's 'bin' directory, and all should be well. Preferred solution: scratch your DJGPP installation, visit www.delorie.com/djgpp/zip-picker to download a fresh, *complete* copy of DJGPP, follow the README.1st instructions to the letter, and you'll have a working DJGPP. -- Hans-Bernhard Broeker (broeker AT physik DOT rwth-aachen DOT de) Even if all the snow were burnt, ashes would remain.
