I have found MS-windows 95/98 to be UNBELIEVABLY UNSTABLE, UNprofessionally designed, and UNtested by everyday ordinary people, AS-WELL-AS experienced users BEFORE being placed on the market! MS should be GIVING AWAY msWin95/98 for all the good it does! I refuse to install ANY version of ms-windows that would NOT allow me to boot to PLAIN ORDINARY __PURE__ DOS mode!! ...AND... and more thing: I have discovered that Compiling a DJGPP project in Win95 and THEN trying to run the SAME PROJECT in _pure_ DOS 6.22/4DOS, that VERY SAME project CORE-DUMPS on me! I was NOT trying to have any kind of dependence on Win95/98 WHATSOEVER! and Until I fix this problem, I am stuck on a very interesting and rather worthwhile project! I am planning on a TOTAL RE-WRITE, FULLY MODULAR design, done one stage at a time.... in nothing but DOS 6.22 with 4DOS 6.01 !! (if you don't have 4DOS, PLEASE look into it... really saves the day with many advanced extensions to DOS). Well....comments and rebuttals are always welcomed. radsmail AT juno DOT com http://members.tripod.com/RadSurfer/ On 26 Jun 2000 18:23:20 GMT, lintux_doesnt_like AT spam DOT lintux DOT cx (Wilmer van der Gaast) wrote: >Bar qnl, Znegva Zrlre znqr gur sbyybjvat jbeqf nccrne ba bhe fperraf: >> I need an upgrade of DOS 6.22.
