I can list hundreds of popular games that were done with Watcom after DJGPP 2 was out...what about Command and Conquer, What about Need for Speed..the Famous games in the Crusader no regret series used the PharLap extender...Origin used Watcom...the list is endless and I don't want to bore you...while the solitary achievement for DJGPP is only Quake. Please give a balanced view. IMHO DJGPP 1 wasn't as bad as you seem to think...your statement suggests that it wasn't a decent 32-bit compiler at that time?
