A single EXE program like "hello world!" is about 60KB. Imaging how much may be in your mailbox, if say 10 people send simple tuts with EXEs, image files, docs, etc. Btw, there is a pretty good gfx library for DJGPP called Allegro. It makes "hello world" EXE program about 200KB in size. So, if the same 10 people send you such tuts, your mailbox may be out of free space and you'll need to download those megabytes. Also people could send you the same programs and you'll not be very glad to have extra copies. :) Better, download Allegro using links/zip-picker at http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/ , commpile it with example prgrams and start learning it. All the docs are inside the package and they are very comprehencive plus there are 40 example programs that have comments inside the sources. I think you must go for Allegro. Good Luck Alexei A.
