No big problem, I thought, until I tried to compile a DJGPP program in a Windows Me DOS-box. The problem is, it no longer processes the config.sys or autoexec.bat, so the DJGPP environment variable doesn't get set. Since it also doesn't have an NT-like option for setting global environemnt variables, it seems there's no way of setting the environment other than manually typing in "SET DJGPP=..." every time I open a new DOS box. Has anyone managed to find a way round this?
