I downloaded this humongous zip file 13,920,554 bytes. There were no errors when I tested it. I unzipped the file and it seemed to go ok (but I wasn't paying real close attention since it tested ok). When I unzipped again with the refresh option, I got this: ------------------------------------ Searching ZIP: L:/DJGPP.INS/GCC2952S.ZIP/GCC2952S.ZIP PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/contrib/gperf-2.7-19981006.p at PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/gcc/cp/g++.1 PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/gcc/cp/g++spec.c PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/gcc/intl/po2tbl.sed.in PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/gcc/po/Makefile.in.in PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/install/dec-osf-shlibstdc++. patch PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/libgpp/g++FAQ.txt PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/libgpp/proto-kit/file_types. includes.h PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/libgpp/proto-kit/file_types. operation.h PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/libgpp/proto-kit/file_types. type.h PKUNZIP: (W10) Warning! can't create: gnu/gcc-2.952/README.libg++ PKUNZIP: (E11) No update needed. ------------------------------------ As you can see above most of the files unzipped fine, but the first 11 files did not so I don't have them. What do I do now? I need a C++ compiler that runs in DOS. -- Outsider MS-DOS 6.22, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Netscape Navigator 4.08 Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught. - Oscar Wilde
