Hi Richard, My original reaction to this topic was that it would be worthwhile to return the gcc 2.7.2.1 zips to the DJGPP archive, for reasons that have arisen in this thread (stability, small size, etc). Others disagree, however; probably they all have much newer machines than I do :-/ In any case, I was able to retrieve a full set of 2.7.2.1 zips from the URL posted by Andris Pavenis, and the originator of this thread can do the same, so unless others feel differently, it may no longer be worthwhile to upload them to the DJGPP archive. If you do upload them, however, I would suggest returning them to v2gnu (since previous versions of other programs are also left in v2gnu). jtw
