SO it is a emulator. And Windows 9x is an emulator too, it enables Windows programs to run under ms-dos, it emulates the win32 API. SO it is a emulator. To me, an "emulator" is something that translates one machine language to another on the fly (either by interpreting or dynamic recompilation). Would the DJGPP version of GCC run?
