Anyway try quitting (or closing edit window) RHIDE when '*' has disappeared. RHIDE will prompt You to save file anyway (I verified this with Linux version only yet). So at least there is no danger of loss of data. This is bug though, but I don't know when I'll try to fix it. Andris
