Mmmmm IMHO it could be a lot of things BUT a djgpp problem (for example, assuming that your copy of win explorer is not corrupted, it could be a dir-structure problem; or if you are using win98's setting of "view as a web page", or ...). Have you tried to run a disk checker (like scandisk or even better, if you have norton utils, norton diskdoctor)? That could help to solve the problem. Another thing you can try later is to run a disk organizer (like defrag or norton speed disk). well those are my two cents, Luis
