Edit for DOS 95 has nine buffers. Each buffer can hold up to 65,280 lines, each up to 1,023 characters. It has two windows; each can be set to a different buffer, or they can be set to the same buffer. And you get a 50 line console if you start /h: edit /h foo.txt bar.c nognian.html > Uses it's own kill-buffer, so no need for the windows- > clipboard. Practical, but hardly any good for writing code. It's got some features (select whole lines without having to press Home) that are good for assembly coders like me (I write NES games). -- Damian Yerrick http://yerricde.tripod.com/ My .sig is too long to include in an e-mail or NG message.
