I've just done a quick prototype of what the program could look like. You can get it at http://www.ukc.ac.uk/php/cj7/djinst.zip . It requires the VB 5 runtime files and Internet Explorer installed. The reason it's a Windows app is this: * It can download files (a DOS version wouldn't be able to). * People who need the program are likely to be used to using Windows - Unix or DOS users can probably install it themselves anyway.
