The info on 'ar' does not explain that if you specify the 'V' option (to show 
the version), it apparently ignores all other options and commands and merely 
outputs the version.  An additional sentence needs to be included in the info 
file to indicate this, so that programmers who like to see version information 
along with the operation of 'ar' to create or modify their libraries are not 
confused when it does not happen and do not waste time or lose productivity in 
trying to figure out the solution.
