Read the 'README.1st' again. You'll find instruction to add something to autoexec.bat. If you followed those instructions correctly, the command set | find /i "djgpp" should print two lines of output, looking roughly like this: PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\WINDOWS DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV (don't worry about upper/lower case, it doesn't really matter).
