Clearly he does not even read this newsgroup, otherwise I would hope he would be so embarrassed by the furore that he would repair the package. I find it interesting that in the help file provided with the distribution, he specifies an exception to the GPL allowing the distribution of RSXNTDJ-compiled applications without source code, for a price of $40. So it is strange that he seems disinterested in a potential money-earning project. I downloaded RSXNTDJ with thoughts of 'yes - win32 programs using djgpp - great!' only to be very disappointed with the amount of fiddling about needed to get it working. For me, this put me off the thought of ever using it again. I now use DJGPP for DOS development, and Mumit Khan's distribution of Mingw32 for Windows development. With the new Windows headers/libraries by Anders Norlander, this is, I think, the best there is. In short, Johan, I think there is no good reason for you to work on RSXNTDJ, especially when Mingw32 is being actively developed and supported. Sorry if I have upset anybody, but, after all, this is only MY opinion. Regards, Stuart
