To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com DJ-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp Reply-To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com Hey guys. I'm a really really amateurish programmer and for most of my programming time is spend on a 486 (bad!) with djgpp and Allegro (good!). Problem is I want to make my programs very flexible without have to re-compile everytime i make a change (just imagine debugging!). I mainly use DJGPP for little games and stuff, but a small source takes roughly 30 or so seconds. Not much you may think, but for changing and rechanging and compiling and recompiling its horrible. So my question is, are there any scripting languages developed specifically for Allegro? I've been using python for a few months now, but the last i heard its not fully ported? I've been ooking at S-Lang, but i'd like to pass on the whole wheel-reinvention bit if i can. Any advice would be _dearly_ appreciated! -- Orlando Vazquez
