I assume you are running a DJGPP program in a DOS session. Right click the title bar and select properties/memory and then click on the number or "auto" for DPMI. DO NOT click the value menu pull down thing (that lets you select from suggested values). Click in the value itself and type over it with the max amount of memory you want in KB (such as 65536 for 64Mb). Click OK and then close the DOS session. From then on whenever you open that DOS session, your DPMI programs will be permitted that amount of memory.
