My current solution is to process these data files with a program that reads it in binary mode in groups of 4 bytes, converts it to its appropiate int hex representation and stores it in a format suitable for declaring it as a static array of ints (yes, yes its not portable and non-endian neutral) The problem is that gcc takes a rather long time to compile these files.
