I'd like to announce version 1.0 of colgcc. colgcc colours the output of gcc to highlight warnings and errors. Instead of calling gcc, c++, etc. as usual, one uses colgcc to run the compiler. One can also use colgcc to run make. colgcc captures the output and colours it appropriately. An example: colgcc gcc -c myfile.c -o myfile.o It's based loosely on a Perl script called colorgcc. colgcc can be downloaded here: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lab/3216/mysoft.html#colgcc I hope it's useful to someone.
