I'm a 17 year old high school drop out an happily employed :) Of course I know C/C++/ASM/PERL/HTML & various script languages (I don't quite know which catagory this is, but I can write InstallShield's code too). I also know many APIs... DirectX/OpenGL/MFC/Windows SDK.. I know I left out alot of stuff, but the point isn't to look good, its just this: If you really know what your doing, and can prove it, then they don't care if you dropped out of preschool and haven't been to school since, as long as you can read, write, and interact with other people. -Brian -----Original Message----- From: Paul Richards Newsgroups: demon.tech.pc,comp.os.msdos.djgpp To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com Date: Sunday, April 25, 1999 3:10 PM Subject: OT: Career's in Programming >Hi, >When I leave school I would like to get a degree in Software Engineering >and eventually become a programmer.
