I thought the original poster meant to acually produce a Linux executable on a DOS machine, though, ie. to use djgpp as a cross-compiler? I've never heard of anyone doing it this way around, although using djgpp to build DOS programs on Linux works very well. In theory it should be possible to build all the Linux development tools using djgpp, but that is not exactly going to be a trivial task :-) Shawn Hargreaves.
