Yes, DJGPP *must* go somewhere. Although DOS is pretty good OS, one day it will die. (e.g. MS will discontinue its support in Windows). No, I don't say - "DOS is dead!" I'm just afraid that someday it can happen. And I don't want to see DJGPP that day still stuck with DOS. The danger is there - just remember discussion there about moving from COFF to ELF object format. If we would make DJWIN as Michael said, then we must start from porting DJGPP to Win API.
