Dragon Linux comes sans X/Desktop while Monkey has it >(X/fvwm). Base installs of both are about 2OMB on a FAT16. Thank you, Mr. Santillan. I downloaded and installed DragonLinux on my 486 and it works well. And I can afford the drive space, so I am going to leave it in. Do you think I could use some of the utilities and programs that are on the Red Hat 5.0 and OpenLinux CDs? Perhaps I could get X and some other good things from these CDs and not have to download them. Do you think these would work with DragonLinux--assuming the ones I install are not kernal or Red Hat or OpenLinux specific.? I have these packages on the shelf now until I get a bigger machine. There must be hundreds of good Linux utilities in them. Thanks again, I did not know about DragonLinux or UMSDOS. Sincerely, Ralph Proctor Coral Gables, Florida USA
