Rhide might be expecting newer versions, since you have a newer version of it than of most of the other tools. Get: bnu281b GNU binutils 2.8.1 for DJGPP V2 djdev202 Development Kit and Runtime gcc281b GNU GCC 2.8.1 for DJGPP V2 gpp281b GNU G++ 2.8.1 for DJGPP V2 (no libs) mak377b GNU Make 3.77 binaries for DJGPP V2 lgp281b GNU libg++ 2.8.1 for DJGPP V2 IIRC. Also, are you planning to use libg++? It's not the standard C++ library with the iostreams and container classes and such; that's libstdc++ and comes with gpp281b.zip. libg++ is an old, obsolete nonstandard GNU library of container classes and string classes that was useful before the C++ standard was finalized and the standard template library was added to the standard iostreams. It also has more restrictive licensing on its use than do libstdc++ and the standard C library libc. If you don't plan to use libg++, then you may as well chuck it and save disk space. -- .*.
