That's already implemented. But when the user press Alt+F5 the events system 
is stopped and a keyboard poll is forced, so Robert needs to add a call to 
idle() (a class member that makes the idle stuff, in DOS it calls 
__dpmi_yield if nothing must be done) inside the loop.
