People using UK keyboards should ask it better, but here the problem isn't with RHIDE. The "or" key you are using generates an ASCII code that gcc doesn't interpret as a valid "or". It isn't 124 but 221 and gcc doesn't really like it ;-). I don't know where is the ASCII 124 located in the UK keyboard.
