I never saw such a thing. I saw users reporting problems like "when I exit RHIDE the display becomes messy" or "when I do xxxx my mouse pointer dissapears" but "no djgpp program displays text" is the first time I see it. I think that's something related with your Japanese terminal and the fact that RHIDE writes directly to the video memory. If your terminal can't support programs that writes ASCII values to the video memory you are lost. I think most of the DOS programs with intensive screen output (windows, menues, etc) does the screen job writing ASCII chars to the screen. Perhaps your Win95 DOS boxes have some setting to work as ASCII terminals. > Ps., I've been trying to compile RHIDE by myself, but there are few > instructions... Is there any where I can get more? There are an RHIDE mailing list, look in the RHIDE home page (http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/~sho/rho/) SET ------------------------------------ 0 -------------------------------- Visit my home page: http://welcome.to/SetSoft or http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/6552/ Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET).
