I really hope they leave the command prompt in. Even in Windows developement I use good ole make with the VC++ command-line. I can see them cutting out the real-mode DOS boot at the start. Like Windows NT. Now would DJGPP be compatible with the Windows command prompt in W2K (a fitting acronym)? Seems they've also dispensed with the Win9x and NT thing. It's Windows 2000 Professional (NT) and Standard (9x), and other versions. No command prompt?
