Vim features include syntax highlighting, intelligent C indentation, extensive macro facilities, a plethora of configuration options and much more. And it's free (with source code also available). Vim runs under a many different OS's from Linux and Unix to Windows 98/95/3.1 and plain DOS. The Windows version is available as a console application or a Win32 windowing version with OLE support.
