It is getting very annoying because it has happened at least twice in two different programs. The variable just will not retain its value. In my programs, this usually involves having an object be created (originally a pointer), and then passing it to a function immediately after and most of the time the variable doesn't equal the value. I compiled some test code in Turbo C++ and that seemed to print out my correct answer, but DJGPP would print out stuff way off like it was never initialized. Does anybody have any ideas on mine and this other fellows problems? ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==--- ---== http://www.newsfeeds.com - Largest Usenet Server In The World! ==---
