Now, I understand that this is happening because it is trying to compile a non-existent file into a file named File.cpp but this seem like a mistake which could happen quite a lot and be very very costly (e.g. there goes my homework). Is this a DJGPP bug/feature or does it represent something weird with DOS (Win95 Dos mode), and is there anyway to get around it (besides typing more carefully)?
