For me personally this is a major minus in what > looks like a great IDE - now is this a feature, or can I turn it off some > where? Anybody else encoutered this? That's because Robert never saves the window number to disk and hence the number is the Z position. > I am currently using my old TP6 IDE 'cause it does not do this - it keeps > the files in the same number sequence windows you exited the program with - Try using my editor (is the same code inside RHIDE but as an standalone editor) is under /v2apps/edi04??b.zip. I store the window number in the desktop file so the numbers are never swapped. Additionally Window 1 is the project all the time. > why doens't Rhide behave as logically? Ugh! You can do the same from the editor plus: 1) Make is called with one keystroke 2) You collect the gcc errors with the editor. But I really don't understand why the order of the windows is so important. I mainly use the project to locate a source and as a second option Alt+0.
