Can someone send me info or a url where I can find out the basics of C++
library creation, perhaps covering how to deal with inheriting classes?

I'm just not sure how to arrange them in the files.  I've looked at the faq
and although it talks about how to make the object files and ar them into a
library, the library it made doesn't seem to work correctly... multiple
references or something.  I figure this is a problem with how the code is
arranged since there aren't any errors until I try to use the library.
