VMS names its scripts ending in `.com', and `make.com' is frequently seen. It took me quite a while to find out why the system would crash every time I tried to `make' the package... I've lobbied the maintainer to change it to `makevms.com'; I haven't checked to see if it's been done. (I think it was GNU Forth). -- Nate Eldredge nate AT cartsys DOT com
