Allegro is a library - mainly game oriented, but not limited to that. It includes functions to blit bitmaps to the screen, set screen modes, play sounds, check for input, etc. It does not, however, contain functions to print bitmaps to hardcopy, nor does it have the ability to support multi-size fonts.
