One caveat -- some folk (like me) also need to put their default environment size into the "Shell to DOS" registry entry, like this: (Default) "C:\command.com /e:1024 /k cd %1" I find myself using lots of environment variables at times, and the default environment space just doesn't cut it. ---------------------------------------------------- Peter J.
