If it is so then this file is now obsolete and should be deleted as I released update of gcc-2.8.1 port in begin of June. I deleted this file from my homepage. 2) If You are including alpha versions then contents of directory v2/alphas/980726 is missing. My experience shows that this version with only some patches is stable enough for regular work (I'm using it already for about a month and have built now egcs-1.1a release (released 2 days ago) which should appear in v2gnu/alphas after some day when I'll upload archives).
